Round Ups

  • April Book Round Up!

In this round up I take you through my April Reading. A pretty successful month on all accounts – getting through my TBR, enjoying some strong reads and stories that produced strong emotions out of me. We’re still in a weird reading place, but hopefully it will be over soon.

  • March Book Round Up!

This round up shows that March reading was a mixed bag. A few TBR wins, but mostly underwhelming, disappointing book club picks, and a reminder of why I left certain authors behind. The bright spots? They were bright. But overall? A month to shake off and move on from.

  • February Book Round Up

My biggest reading month in over a year. This round up covers five-star triumphs, frustrating Booker longlist picks, dramatic Black romances, and a thriller that nearly sent me over the edge. From devastating literary fiction to soap-opera chaos, this was a wildly mixed — but undeniably memorable — month of reading.

  • January Book Round Up

Welcome to the first round up of the year! January was a month of surprise favourites to absolute chaos reads, it’s been a mixed month with zero 5‑star hits. Here’s my honest round‑up of the 15 books I tackled, the good, the confusing, and the downright unhinged!

  • November Book Round Up

This month’s round up covers 16 books, many of which are some of my favourites this year! From thought-provoking stories to pure fun and even some let downs , it’s been a mix of emotions, discoveries, and reflections, a true snapshot of my reading life this month.

  • October Book Round Up!

October started as an extremely slow month that somehow managed to pick up in the last week of the month and resulted in some of the best books I’ve read all year. So as far as enjoyability goes it was a pretty successful month. 10 Books, two 5 star reads and a round up that started short and became an extensive recount of some great books!

  • September Book Round Up!

September was one of my best reading months yet. In this round up I take you through the 15 books total, including three five-star reads! I focused on clearing my TBR, revisiting old favourites, and discovering some unforgettable stories. From emotional literary fiction to gripping thrillers, this month reminded me exactly why I love reading so much.

  • August Book Round Up!

In my book round up for August, I give an overview of the 10 books I read and the slowness of this month. A round up filled with average reads and a couple standouts, here is the rundown of the books I loved, the ones that were disappointing and the ones not even worth mentioning.

  • July Book Round Up!

In my book round up for July I give an overview of the 13 books I read since my last round up and how I felt about them! Overall nothing blew me away this month. There are some notable thrillers to unpack and as well as my exploration of authors I know and love! So lots to discuss!
